The NSI INDUSTRIES 560-dc2 is a single-screw, strap-type conduit connector designed to secure corrugated or interlocked MC, AC, and NM cable to electrical boxes and enclosures. Constructed from zinc die cast with a ball-burnish finish, this connector handles a cable opening range of 0.44 to 0.61 inches and fits a 3/8 inch trade size knockout. The tri-drive screw accommodates multiple driver types, speeding up installation in tight spaces. Electricians use this connector during rough-in and panel work wherever flexible metal conduit or armored cable terminates at a box.
The 560-dc2 is suited for residential and light commercial electrical installations. It accepts 14/4 to 10/4 AWG MCI-A cable, 12/2 to 10/4 AWG AC/MC/MCIA/HCF/HCFMCI-A cable, 14/2 to 10/3 AWG NM cable, and 3/8 inch flexible metal conduit. This range of compatible cable types makes it a practical stock item for electricians running multiple cable types on the same job.
Compatible with 14/4 to 10/4 AWG MCI-A, 12/2 to 10/4 AWG AC/MC/MCIA/HCF/HCFMCI-A, 14/2 to 10/3 AWG NM cable, and 3/8 inch flexible metal conduit terminating at a 1/2 inch knockout using the 3/8 inch trade size fitting.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits and verify with a meter before working on any enclosure or panel. Insert the cable through the connector, tighten the strap screw snugly to secure the cable without deforming the jacket, and thread the connector into the knockout until the locknut is properly seated. Do not overtighten the screw to the point of damaging the cable jacket or armor.
