The NSI INDUSTRIES 430-slt is a liquid tight steel straight connector designed to terminate metallic liquid tight conduit at electrical boxes and enclosures in wet or damp locations. Zinc-plated steel construction and NPT-threaded ends combine with sealing gaskets to create a watertight connection that resists corrosion in demanding environments. Listed to UL-514B, this connector meets standard requirements for conduit fittings used in electrical installations. It is a standard trade item installed by licensed electricians on commercial and industrial wiring projects where conduit protection and moisture exclusion are required.
This connector is suited for use in wet environments including mechanical rooms, industrial facilities, outdoor enclosures, and any application where metallic liquid tight conduit must terminate securely at a junction box or electrical enclosure. The straight-body configuration makes it appropriate for direct entries where no angular offset is needed. Each box contains 25 connectors, supporting larger installation runs or service stocking needs. The 1/2 inch trade size covers common branch circuit and control wiring conduit runs.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch metallic liquid tight conduit terminating at standard electrical boxes and enclosures with NPT-threaded knockouts.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for liquid tight conduit fittings. Power must be shut off and locked out at the panel before making connections at any electrical enclosure. Hand-tighten the connector at the enclosure knockout and verify the sealing gasket is properly seated before final tightening. Inspect the conduit end for clean cuts and proper fit before seating the connector to ensure a reliable liquid tight seal.
