The NSI INDUSTRIES 265 is a 2-inch compression-style EMT coupling designed to join two sections of electrical metallic tubing in conduit runs. It creates a secure, raintight mechanical connection without the need for set screws, relying instead on compression to grip the conduit. This type of fitting is standard hardware for licensed electricians working on branch circuit conduit installations in residential, commercial, and light industrial environments. The 2-inch trade size accommodates larger conduit runs where higher wire fill capacity is required.
This coupling is suited for use in exposed conduit systems, junction runs, and panel feeds where EMT is the specified raceway. It is commonly installed in interior and protected exterior locations. The compression design makes it a reliable choice when a consistent, tool-assisted mechanical connection is preferred over set-screw fittings. Electricians typically use this fitting during rough-in work and service upgrades on systems requiring 2-inch EMT conduit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitment coupling for 2-inch EMT conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits and verify the system is locked out and tagged out before working on any conduit run. Use an appropriate conduit wrench or pliers to tighten the compression nut to a firm, secure fit without over-torquing the fitting body. Inspect conduit ends for burrs and ream as needed before seating the coupling.
