The NSI INDUSTRIES 254 is a compression-style EMT connector designed to secure 1-1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing to standard knockout openings in enclosures, panels, and junction boxes. Compression connectors form a tight, vibration-resistant connection without the need for a setscrew, making them well suited for installations where a secure mechanical bond is required. This connector is a standard component in conduit rough-in work handled by licensed electricians across residential and light commercial projects.
This connector is used wherever 1-1/2 inch EMT terminates at an enclosure, load center, meter socket, or other metallic box. It is appropriate for indoor dry locations and is a common component in panel rough-in, branch circuit runs, and equipment connections where EMT is the specified raceway.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 1-1/2 inch EMT conduit systems terminating at metallic enclosures and junction boxes.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits and verify lockout/tagout procedures before working inside any enclosure. Insert the EMT fully into the connector before tightening the compression nut to ensure a proper mechanical and bonding connection. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this may deform the fitting or conduit end.
