The NSI INDUSTRIES 250 is a 1/2 inch compression-style EMT connector used to terminate electrical metallic tubing at enclosures, junction boxes, and panelboards. Compression connectors provide a more secure, rain-tight mechanical connection than set-screw types, making them a preferred choice in applications where vibration or moisture exposure is a concern. Licensed electricians install this fitting as part of a conduit system to maintain a continuous equipment grounding path and protect conductors from physical damage. It is a standard trade fitting stocked for rough-in and finish electrical work.
This connector is suited for use in residential and light commercial electrical installations where 1/2 inch EMT is specified. Typical applications include service entrance work, branch circuit rough-in, and equipment connections in indoor and covered outdoor locations. The compression design provides a secure, tool-tightened fit around the conduit without the need for set screws, reducing the risk of loosening over time.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement fitting for use with standard 1/2 inch electrical metallic tubing (EMT) in residential and commercial conduit installations.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for conduit systems. De-energize all circuits before working in any enclosure or panelboard where this connector will be installed. The compression nut is tightened by hand and then snugged with pliers or a wrench to form a secure mechanical connection around the conduit. Do not overtighten, as excessive force can deform the compression ring and compromise the connection.
