The NSI INDUSTRIES 232 is a set screw-type EMT conduit connector made from zinc electroplated steel and rated for concrete-tight installations. It accepts 1-inch trade size EMT conduit and secures it to a knockout with a Tri Drive Slot, Phillips, and Robertson head screw — giving electricians flexibility with common hand tools. The non-insulated throat design suits standard metallic raceway runs. At 0.191 pounds per unit, the 232 is a lightweight, high-volume fitting stocked in packages of 250 for production wiring work. It carries UL 514B approval for both US and Canadian installations and meets Federal Specification A-A-50553 and NEMA FB-1 requirements.
This connector is used on 1-inch EMT conduit in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations. It is suited for panel feeds, branch circuit raceways, and equipment connections where a concrete-tight fitting is required. Licensed electricians install this fitting when transitioning EMT conduit into enclosures, junction boxes, and panels. The 250-piece standard package supports high-volume rough-in work on commercial jobsites.
Designed for use on 1-inch trade size EMT conduit. Compatible with standard 1-inch EMT knockout entries on enclosures, panels, and junction boxes per UL 514B.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize all circuits in the enclosure before making conduit entries. Insert the conduit fully into the connector throat before tightening the set screw. Do not over-drive the set screw to the point of deforming the conduit wall.
