The NSI INDUSTRIES 0T is a dual rated lug designed to terminate electrical conductors ranging from 1/0 AWG down to 14 AWG. Dual rated lugs are listed for use with both aluminum and copper conductors, making them a versatile termination solution across a wide range of electrical installations. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this type of lug in panelboards, switchgear, load centers, and similar equipment where secure, code-compliant conductor termination is required. The wide conductor range supports flexibility on the job when connecting feeders or branch-circuit wiring.
This lug is suited for residential and light commercial electrical work where a single termination point must accommodate varying conductor sizes. It is commonly used in service entrance work, sub-panel installations, and equipment terminations where both aluminum service conductors and copper branch conductors may be present at the same termination point. The 1/0 to 14 AWG range makes it practical for mixed-conductor environments encountered in retrofit and new-construction applications alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and general-use termination lug for residential and commercial electrical panelboards and service equipment requiring dual-rated aluminum and copper conductor terminations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit or panel before beginning termination work. Use a calibrated torque screwdriver or wrench to tighten the lug to the manufacturer-specified torque value listed on the product or equipment labeling. Inspect the conductor insulation and strip length before seating the wire in the lug barrel.
