The NORTON 8834137541 is a high performance micro-mini flap wheel engineered for aggressive material removal and deburring in tight or confined areas. Built with a durable aluminum oxide abrasive blend, it delivers the cut rate and consistency that coarser conventional flap wheels often cannot sustain under demanding conditions. The flaps are constructed from a heavy cotton and polyester blend, which promotes conformability to irregular surfaces while providing strong wear resistance. The steel shank is integrated directly into the wheel body, eliminating chatter and maintaining precise balance during operation. This design also allows for fast tool changes on collet-style die grinders and rotary tools.
This micro-mini flap wheel is suited for metalworking applications including deburring, blending, and coarse stock removal on workpieces where access is limited. The P80 grit rating positions it for initial surface preparation and removal of scale, burrs, or weld seams. It is commonly used by machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians working on small-diameter bores, slots, and internal contours where standard flap wheels cannot reach. The wheel measures 5/8 inch in diameter, 3/4 inch in width, and has a 1/8 inch shank diameter.

Installation is performed by inserting the 1/8 inch steel shank into a compatible collet on a die grinder or rotary tool and tightening the collet securely before operation. Ensure the tool is powered off and unplugged or the air supply is disconnected before mounting or removing the wheel. Do not exceed the maximum RPM rating of the wheel or the tool. Eye protection and appropriate PPE should be worn during all grinding and deburring operations.
