At 6 inches wide and 60 inches in overall length, it fits standard wide-belt sanders and industrial floor machines. This belt is rated for dry operation only and belongs to the Norton R228 series.
This belt is suited for industrial and trade environments where fast material removal is the priority. Typical applications include weld seam grinding, heavy surface conditioning, and aggressive stock removal on metal fabrication or woodworking equipment. The X-weight cloth backing handles high-tension and high-pressure sanding operations without tearing or delaminating.
