The NORTON 69083125994 is a large-diameter aluminum oxide cut-off wheel engineered for stationary grinding operations. Measuring 24 inches in diameter and 7/32 inches thick, with a 1-3/4 inch arbor hole, this wheel is built to handle demanding material removal tasks on steel and stainless steel. It uses a resinoid bond and a reinforced construction with sides reinforced for added structural integrity during high-stress cuts. The wheel is rated at a maximum of 2,260 RPM and carries a Type 1 (01/41) flat profile. Licensed trade professionals and grinding equipment operators install and operate this wheel on fixed stationary grinders.
This cut-off wheel is suited for foundry and all-purpose cutting applications on ferrous metals, including carbon steel and stainless steel. Its large 24-inch diameter makes it appropriate for stationary industrial grinders where production cutting or heavy structural material processing is required. The aluminum oxide abrasive grain delivers consistent stock removal across ferrous metal workpieces in both light fabrication and heavy foundry environments. It is not designed for angle grinder or portable tool use.
Designed for use with stationary grinders capable of accepting a 24 inch diameter, Type 1 cut-off wheel with a 1-3/4 inch arbor hole. Rated for steel and stainless steel cutting applications in foundry and general-purpose environments.
Installation and wheel changes must be performed by qualified personnel following the grinder manufacturer's guarding and flange requirements. Always power down and fully de-energize the stationary grinder before mounting or removing a wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage prior to installation and never exceed the rated maximum RPM of 2,260. Applicable ANSI B7.1 safety standards for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels should be consulted before operation.
