The NORTON 69014191917 is a Type 11V9 diamond grinding wheel designed for precision grinding of hard and superhard materials. Built with Armored Synthetic Diamond (ASD) abrasive at 120 grit and Fine grade, this wheel uses a resinoid bond and carries an ASD120-R75B105-1/8 specification designation. It measures 5 inches in diameter with an overall thickness of 1-3/4 inches and supports both wet and dry operation. The 70-degree face angle and 7/16-inch face width make it suited for form grinding and profile work on carbide, ceramics, and similar hard materials. Licensed tradespeople and toolroom machinists are the primary installers.
This wheel is intended for use on bench grinders and tool and cutter grinders where a Type 11V9 cup wheel profile is required. The 1/8-inch superabrasive depth and 75 concentration rating deliver consistent stock removal on carbide tooling, ceramic components, and other hard substrates. Its wet or dry capability makes it adaptable to both coolant-fed production environments and dry toolroom setups. The 1-1/4-inch hole size fits standard spindle arbors common to bench-mounted and pedestal grinding machines.
Designed for use on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, and tool and cutter grinders that accept a Type 11V9 cup wheel with a 1-1/4-inch arbor hole and a 5-inch wheel diameter.
Mounting and dressing of superabrasive grinding wheels should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Always power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing any wheel. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and never operate above the rated maximum RPM marked on the wheel. Follow ANSI B7.1 safety requirements for the use, care, and protection of abrasive wheels.
