The NORTON 69014191906 is a Type 11V9 diamond grinding wheel designed for precision grinding of hard and superhard materials. It measures 3-3/4 inches in diameter with an overall thickness of 1-1/2 inches and accepts a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole. The wheel uses Armored Synthetic Diamond (ASD) abrasive bonded in a resinoid matrix at a concentration grade of 75, rated at 150 grit for a very fine finish. The face angle is set at 70 degrees with a 3/8 inch face width and a 1/16 inch superabrasive depth. This wheel is suitable for both wet and dry operation and is intended for use by tool grinders, machinists, and industrial maintenance technicians working with carbide, ceramic, or hardened tool steel.
This wheel is suited for tool room and production grinding applications where a very fine surface finish is required on cutting tools, carbide inserts, and similar hard materials.
