The NORTON 69014191832 is a Type 11V9 cubic boron nitride (CBN) superabrasive grinding wheel designed for precision tool grinding and sharpening operations. Built on a resinoid bond matrix with a CBN concentration of 75, this wheel delivers consistent stock removal on hardened steels, tool steels, and HSS cutting tools. At 100 grit (Fine grade), it produces a refined surface finish suited to finish-grinding and edge restoration. The wheel supports both wet and dry operation, making it adaptable to a range of bench and pedestal grinding setups. It is installed and used by tool grinders, machinists, and maintenance professionals working with precision cutting tools.
This wheel is specified for applications where dimensional accuracy and surface finish on hardened tool materials are critical. Its 70-degree face angle and 3/8-inch face width are designed for cup-style grinding profiles typical of drill, end mill, and lathe tool sharpening fixtures. The 1/16-inch superabrasive depth provides a long service life relative to its compact form factor. Suitable for use in toolroom environments and production tool-grinding cells, it handles finish passes on tool edges where conventional abrasives would generate damaging heat.

Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tool grinder familiar with superabrasive wheel mounting procedures. Power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing the wheel.
