The NORTON 66623340181 is a rigid deburring disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal workpieces. It measures 8 inches in diameter with a 5/8-inch center arbor hole and a 1/2-inch thickness. The abrasive blend combines aluminum oxide and ceramic grain at an extra coarse grade, making it well suited for removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface scale left by cutting, stamping, or machining operations. The disc is rated to a maximum of 6000 RPM and carries a density rating of 7. Metal fabricators, maintenance technicians, and industrial grinding operators are the primary users of this disc.
This deburring disc is intended for use on angle grinders and bench-mounted arbor setups equipped with a 5/8-inch arbor. Its rigid construction and extra coarse grade make it most effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in fabrication shops, job sites, and manufacturing environments. The arbor connector type allows straightforward mounting without additional backing hardware. It is sold individually but requires a minimum order quantity of 25 units per order.
Designed for use with angle grinders and arbor-mounted grinding setups that accept an 8-inch disc with a 5/8-inch arbor connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with abrasive disc safety practices. Always power down and unplug the grinder before mounting or removing the disc. Confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 6000 RPM maximum rating of the disc before operation. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never use a damaged abrasive disc.
