The NORTON 66623340177 is a rigid deburring disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal workpieces. Built with a dual-abrasive construction combining aluminum oxide and ceramic, this disc delivers consistent cutting action at an extra coarse grade. It mounts via a standard arbor connection through a 7/8 inch center hole and is rated to a maximum of 7000 RPM. At 7 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick, it is suited for use on angle grinders and bench-mounted disc grinders. Metalworking fabricators, welders, and machinists use this disc to remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface irregularities left after cutting or stamping operations.
This deburring disc is used in metal fabrication shops, manufacturing facilities, and maintenance environments where consistent edge finishing is required. The rigid construction and extra coarse grade make it appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous metals where rapid material removal takes priority over a fine finish. It is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 25 units, making it a standard consumable for production-volume operations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement deburring disc for use with angle grinders and disc grinders accepting a 7 inch arbor-mount disc with a 7/8 inch center hole.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with abrasive wheel safety per ANSI B7.1 standards. Disconnect and lock out the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the disc. Verify that the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 7000 RPM maximum rating marked on the disc before operation. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and do not use a disc that shows signs of degradation.
