The NORTON 66623340164 is a rigid deburring disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal workpieces. Built with an aluminum oxide and ceramic abrasive blend, this disc delivers extra coarse cutting action suited for deburring, blending, and surface preparation tasks. It measures 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch in thickness, with a 1/4-inch arbor center hole for direct mount on right-angle grinders and disc sanders. Rated to 12,000 RPM, it is engineered for use in fabrication shops, maintenance environments, and production grinding operations where fast stock removal is the priority.
This deburring disc is used on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in both shop and field environments. The rigid construction and extra coarse grade make it well suited for removing weld spatter, sharp burrs, flash, and scale from cut or machined parts. The arbor mount configuration is compatible with standard 1/4-inch arbor angle grinders. Metal fabricators, machinists, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this type of abrasive tooling.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-fit abrasive disc for right-angle grinders and disc sanders equipped with a 1/4-inch arbor mount accepting 3-inch diameter deburring discs.
Installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with angle grinder safety practices and applicable ANSI B11 or OSHA abrasive wheel standards. Confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 12,000 RPM maximum disc rating before mounting. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never use a damaged disc. Ensure the grinder is powered off and unplugged before mounting or removing the disc.
