The NORTON 66623340074 is a 2-inch non-woven quick-change abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface preparation, blending, and finishing on a wide range of metals. It uses a Type S Speed-Lok TS attachment system for fast, tool-free disc changes on compatible die grinders and handheld disc sanders. The disc is constructed with aluminum oxide abrasive grain bonded to a flexible polyester and nylon web backing. Clean Bond resin technology keeps the surface clear of smear and loading, while the high-loft nylon fiber construction extends working life. Rated to 30,000 RPM. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 50.
This disc is suited for light deburring, surface conditioning, and pre-weld or pre-coat preparation work in fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments. The fine grade and flexible backing allow it to follow contours without gouging. Compatible materials include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. Typical users include metal fabricators, maintenance technicians, and industrial tradespeople working with die grinders or disc sanders.
Designed for use with Speed-Lok TS Type S compatible die grinders and handheld disc sanders. Compatible material applications include 300 Series Stainless, 400 Series Stainless, Brass, Bronze, Cast Iron, Copper, Ductile Iron, Fiberglass and Composites, Gray Iron, Hard Carbon Steels, Soft Carbon Steels, Super Alloys, Titanium, and Tool Steels.
Verify the grinder or sander is equipped with a Speed-Lok TS Type S compatible backing pad before mounting this disc. Disconnect power or remove the battery from the tool before attaching or removing the disc. Do not exceed the 30,000 RPM maximum speed rating. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and replace if torn, delaminated, or worn through.
