The NORTON 66623340044 is a non-woven quick-change abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface conditioning and finishing on a wide range of metals and composites. Measuring 3/4 inches in diameter, the disc uses aluminum oxide abrasive grain bonded to a flexible polyester backing with Clean Bond resin technology. It is rated at a maximum of 40,000 RPM and carries a Very Fine grade (150 grit), making it appropriate for light material removal, blending, and smear-free finishing work. This disc is installed by machinists, fabricators, welders, and metal finishing technicians who require consistent surface results on tight geometries.
This disc fits TR (Type III) and Type R quick-change attaching systems and is compatible with die grinders and handheld disc sanders. The 3/4 inches diameter suits work in confined areas and on contoured surfaces where larger discs cannot reach. Approved material applications include 300 Series and 400 Series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. The blue disc color and black button are standard identifiers for this product line.
