The aluminum oxide abrasive grain is bonded to a flexible polyester and nylon web backing, rated for up to 40000 RPM. Its flexible, high-loft nylon fiber construction and Clean Bond resin technology allow it to work across a wide range of base materials without loading or smearing the workpiece surface. Compatible materials include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels.
