The NORTON 66623335430 is a quick-change non-woven abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface preparation, weld blending, and finishing operations on a wide range of metals. At 3 inches in diameter with a 120 grit medium grade, it uses vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain bonded to a flexible high-loft nylon web backing with proprietary Clean Bond resin technology. The Type R (Roloc-style) attaching system allows fast disc swaps without tools. It is installed and used by machinists, welders, pipefitters, and maintenance mechanics working on fabrication and finishing tasks.
This disc is suited for use on a die grinder or handheld disc sander in both shop and field settings. The flexible nylon web backing conforms to irregular surfaces, making it effective for blending welds and finishing on curved or contoured workpieces. Compatible material applications include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. The maroon disc color and black button are standard identifiers for this grade and series.
