The NORTON 66623335429 is a quick-change non-woven abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface preparation, weld blending, and finishing operations on a wide range of metals. At 3 inches in diameter and rated at 120 grit (medium grade), it uses vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain bonded to a flexible nylon web backing with proprietary Clean Bond resin technology. The Type S attaching system allows fast disc changes on compatible handheld disc sanders. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as metal fabricators will find this disc suited for prep work on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates prior to welding or coating.

This disc is intended for use on a broad range of materials in both light industrial and field service applications. Suitable substrates include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels.
