The NORTON 66623335423 is a TS (Type II) quick-change non-woven abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface conditioning, weld blending, and finishing operations on a wide range of metals and composites. The disc measures 1.5 inches in diameter and is rated for a maximum of 30000 RPM. It uses vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain bonded with a proprietary Clean Bond resin technology into a high-loft nylon web backing, delivering consistent cut rate and surface finish throughout the life of the disc. Medium grade with a 120 grit designation. Installed by metalworkers, fabricators, and maintenance technicians using a handheld disc sander equipped with a Type S attaching system.

This disc is suited for surface prep and finishing work on 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. The flexible nylon web construction allows the disc to conform to contoured surfaces, making it practical for weld seam blending and light stock removal in both shop and field environments.
