The NORTON 66623335410 is a non-woven quick-change abrasive disc designed for surface conditioning, weld blending, and finishing across a wide range of metals. Part of the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, it features vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain bonded to a high-loft nylon fiber web using proprietary Clean Bond resin technology. The 3/4-inch diameter disc mounts via a TS Type II quick-change attaching system and is rated for operation up to 40000 RPM. At a coarse 80 grit, it removes material aggressively while the flexible nylon web backing conforms to contours and irregular surfaces. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical trades use this disc for deburring, cleaning, and prep work on ferrous and non-ferrous base materials.
This disc is suited for handheld disc sanders in both shop and field environments. It performs on 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. The small 3/4-inch form factor makes it effective in tight clearances and confined weld areas where larger discs cannot reach. It is sold individually and is compatible with TS Type II or Type S quick-change systems.
Designed for use with handheld disc sanders equipped with a TS Type II or Type S quick-change attaching system. Rated for use on 300 series stainless, 400 series stainless, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard carbon steels, soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels.
This disc is installed and used by metalworking trades, pipefitters, welders, and general maintenance technicians. Before mounting, confirm the tool spindle is rated for the disc attaching system and that the tool RPM does not exceed 40000. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before changing discs. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves when operating abrasive discs.
