The NORTON 66623325046 is a 1-inch diameter, non-woven quick-change disc designed for surface conditioning, weld blending, and finishing work across a wide range of metals. Part of the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, it uses a Type S (TS Type II) attaching system for fast, tool-free mounting. The disc is built on a flexible nylon web backing with Vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain held in place with proprietary Clean Bond resin technology. At a Very Fine grade (500 grit) and rated for up to 40000 RPM, it delivers consistent, controlled surface finish without aggressive stock removal. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, pipefitters, and metal fabricators will find it suited to light deburring, blending, and prep work.
The 66623325046 is intended for use with handheld disc sanders and straight grinders. Its flexible nylon web construction makes it effective on contoured surfaces and tight areas. The disc handles a broad spectrum of materials including 300 and 400 Series Stainless Steel, brass, bronze, copper, cast iron, ductile iron, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, tool steels, and fiberglass and composites. The small 1-inch diameter suits close-clearance applications where larger discs cannot reach.

Disc installation and removal should be performed with the tool powered off and disconnected from its power source. Align the disc button with the tool arbor and press firmly until it seats securely before operation. Do not exceed the rated maximum RPM of 40000. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and replace immediately if tears, delamination, or unusual wear are observed.
