The NORTON 66623325043 is a TS (Type II) quick-change abrasive disc from the Bear-Tex Rapid Prep series, designed for surface conditioning, weld blending, and finishing operations on a wide range of metals and composites. At 0.75 inches in diameter, this non-woven disc uses vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain bonded to a flexible, high-loft nylon web backing with a proprietary Clean Bond resin system. Rated at 25000 RPM for handheld use, it delivers a very fine finish while maintaining consistent cut throughout the life of the disc. Licensed tradespeople in fabrication, maintenance, and mechanical trades rely on this disc for controlled surface work where aggressive stock removal is not the goal.
This disc is suited for surface preparation and finishing tasks in both shop and field environments. The flexible nylon web backing conforms to irregular contours, making it effective on curved weld seams and irregular stock. Compatible machine types include handheld disc sanders and straight grinders fitted with a Type S attaching system. Material applications include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels.

Installation is performed by fabricators, maintenance technicians, and metalworkers using compatible handheld disc sanders or straight grinders. Verify the tool spindle uses a TS (Type II) Type S quick-change mounting system before attaching the disc. Ensure the tool is powered off and disconnected from its power source before mounting or removing the disc. Do not exceed the rated maximum RPM of the tool or the disc during operation.
