Product Description

The NORTON 66623325017 is a Bear-Tex Rapid Prep quick-change abrasive disc engineered for weld blending, surface conditioning, and finishing operations on metal. It uses a non-woven nylon web backing impregnated with vortex agglomerated aluminum oxide grain and bonded with a proprietary Clean Bond resin technology. The disc measures 1.5 inches in diameter, runs at a maximum of 30,000 RPM, and carries an 80-grit coarse grade. The flexible nylon web construction allows the disc to conform to irregular and contoured surfaces without loading or glazing. It attaches via a Type S quick-change button system, minimizing downtime during disc swaps on handheld disc sanders.

This disc is suited for light-duty metal finishing, weld blending, and prep work in fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments. The high-loft nylon fiber construction makes it effective on contoured parts where aggressive stock removal is not needed but consistent surface finish is required.
