The NORTON 66261194384 is a straight cartridge roll designed for precision deburring, blending, and finishing in tight bores, slots, and contoured surfaces. Built on an X-weighted cloth backing, this roll delivers consistent material removal and resists tearing under load. The abrasive grain is ceramic aluminum oxide, which self-sharpens as it cuts and outlasts conventional aluminum oxide in demanding stock-removal applications. At 1/4 inch in diameter with a 1/8 inch pilot hole, this roll mounts directly onto a mandrel for use with die grinders and pneumatic or electric straight-line finishing tools. Rated to 23,000 RPM, it handles aggressive metal-finishing passes without sacrificing control.
This cartridge roll is suited for metalworking, fabrication, and maintenance operations where access to confined geometry is required. Typical applications include weld cleanup inside tubing or pipe ends, bore finishing in castings, and surface prep in areas that flat abrasives cannot reach. Ensure the power tool is disconnected from its power source before mounting or removing the roll. Do not exceed the 23,000 RPM maximum speed rating of the roll regardless of the tool's maximum RPM. Operators should wear appropriate eye protection and gloves, and confirm the workpiece is secured before beginning any grinding or finishing operation.
