Manufactured from aluminum oxide abrasive on a B-weight paper backing, this disc delivers consistent extra fine (320 grit) cutting action suited for final stock removal, between-coat sanding, and surface prep before finishing. The PSA backing allows fast disc changes directly on compatible sander platens. At 6 inches in diameter and rated to 15,000 RPM, it fits standard 6-inch PSA sander pads. Each package contains 100 discs, making it practical for shop use or service vehicles where volume is a factor.
This disc is designed for wood, painted surfaces, primers, and light metal finishing tasks where a fine, uniform scratch pattern is required before topcoat or polish. The aluminum oxide grain provides a durable, consistent cut across multiple passes. The yellow paper backing with no vacuum holes is suited for solid-platen random orbital sanders that do not use dust extraction through the disc. The flexible construction conforms moderately to contoured surfaces without tearing during use. Ensure the sander platen surface is clean and free of adhesive residue before applying a new disc to maintain proper bond. Press the disc firmly and evenly onto the platen before powering on the sander. Do not exceed the rated 15,000 RPM maximum speed. Discs with degraded adhesion should be replaced immediately to prevent disc separation during operation.
