The NORTON 66261183808 is a 5-inch PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) sanding disc designed for surface finishing and stock removal on a range of materials. Built on a B-weight paper backing, this disc delivers the flexibility needed for contour work while maintaining enough stiffness for flat-surface finishing. The abrasive is aluminum oxide at 120 grit, a fine grade suited for intermediate sanding passes, scratch refinement, and surface prep before finishing coats. It is compatible with random orbital sanders equipped with a PSA backup pad. Trades and production shops rely on this disc for consistent cut rate and finish quality across wood, composites, and light metal applications.
This disc is intended for use on random orbital sanders in both residential and light commercial settings. Typical applications include cabinet finishing, furniture sanding, drywall feathering, and general surface prep work. The 5-inch diameter fits standard PSA backup pads widely used in woodworking, finishing, and remodeling trades. No vacuum holes are included, making this disc suited for non-vac pad setups. The flexible paper backing conforms to slight surface variations, reducing the risk of swirl marks or gouging during finishing passes.
Designed for use with random orbital sanders equipped with 5-inch PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) backup pads. No vacuum hole pattern, so the disc is not suited for hook-and-loop or vac-port pad configurations.
This disc is mounted by aligning it centered on a clean, dry PSA backup pad and pressing firmly to seat the adhesive. Ensure the sander is powered off and unplugged before changing discs. Do not exceed the 15,000 RPM maximum speed rating. Inspect the backup pad surface for contamination or debris before each disc application, as foreign material under the disc can cause uneven wear or premature adhesive failure.
