The NORTON 66261162307 is a quick-change coated abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal surfaces. Built on the Speed-Lok TS (Type II) attachment system with a Type S button, this disc mounts and dismounts rapidly on compatible handheld disc sanders without tools. The ceramic alumina grain is 100% ceramic, which continuously fractures to expose sharper cutting edges throughout the disc life. A resin bond system maximizes grain retention, and a self-lubricating grain treatment reduces heat buildup during use. At 36 grit, this is a very coarse disc rated for maximum material removal rates.
This disc is engineered for use on 300 Series and 400 Series stainless steel, making it a common choice in fabrication, maintenance, and repair work where stainless is the primary substrate. The rigid polyester backing provides dimensional stability under pressure, maintaining consistent contact across the work surface. At 1.5 inches in diameter, it is suited for tight-access grinding and finishing tasks where a standard 5-inch disc cannot reach. Compatible machine type is handheld disc sanders with Speed-Lok TS attachment. The disc is not trimmable and is intended for single-use applications until worn.

Installation and disc changes should be performed with the sander powered off and unplugged or with the air supply disconnected on pneumatic tools. Verify the sander spindle accepts the Speed-Lok TS Type S button before mounting. Never exceed the rated maximum RPM of 30000. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing cracks, tears, or backing separation.
