The NORTON 66261138679 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal and wood surfaces. Part of the R860 series, it uses zirconia alumina grain on a rigid Y-weight polyester backing rated for up to 15,000 RPM. The semi-open coat design reduces loading, and the self-sharpening grain fractures under pressure to expose fresh cutting edges throughout the life of the disc. At 4 inches in diameter and 80 grit, this disc suits medium-to-heavy material removal tasks on a handheld disc sander.
This disc attaches via a Type S (Speed-Lok TS, Type II) quick-change system, making tool-free pad swaps fast in production and field environments. Rated material applications include 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard and soft carbon steels, hardwoods, and softwoods. The waterproof polyester backing holds up to coolant and light fluid exposure. Typical users include fabricators, welders, pipefitters, and millwrights working on structural steel, sheet metal, and weld seam cleanup. Sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 25 units.

Inspect the disc for cracks or delamination before each use and discard any damaged disc immediately.
