The NORTON 66261138672 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc built for aggressive stock removal and surface preparation on a wide range of materials. Part of the R860 series, this disc uses a zirconia alumina abrasive grain on a heavy Y-weight polyester backing, delivering a rigid, durable platform that holds up under sustained grinding pressure. The 24-grit extra-coarse grade cuts fast and generates less heat than conventional abrasives, making it well-suited for weld blending, deburring, and material removal on metals and composites. Maximum rated speed is 30,000 RPM. It attaches via the Speed-Lok TR (Type III) quick-change system and is compatible with Type R backing pads used on handheld disc sanders.

This disc is intended for use on a broad range of materials including 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, fiberglass and composites, hard and soft carbon steels, and hard and soft woods. Installation Notes

Operate within the disc's rated RPM and use appropriate PPE including eye protection and gloves during grinding operations.
