The NORTON 66261138620 is a quick-change abrasive disc designed for aggressive stock removal, weld blending, and deburring on metal and wood surfaces. It measures 1.5 inches in diameter and uses an 80-grit zirconia alumina abrasive on a Y-weight polyester backing rated rigid and waterproof. The Speed-Lok TS (Type II, Type S) attachment system allows fast, tool-free disc changes on compatible handheld disc sanders. Zirconia alumina is a self-sharpening abrasive grain, meaning it fractures during use to expose fresh cutting edges, extending disc life under load. This disc is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making it suited for shop stocking and production grinding operations.
This disc is intended for use in metalworking, fabrication, and woodworking environments. Rated for 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard and soft carbon steels, hard woods, and soft woods, it handles a broad range of workpiece materials. Typical install scenarios include weld seam blending on stainless fabrications, deburring cut edges on structural steel, and surface conditioning on non-ferrous metals. It is designed for use with handheld disc sanders equipped with a Speed-Lok TS (Type S) backup pad.

Installation is performed by metalworkers, fabricators, or woodworkers using a compatible handheld disc sander with a Type S backup pad. Ensure the tool is powered off and disconnected from the power source before changing discs. Do not exceed the rated maximum RPM of 30000. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc that shows tears, delamination, or deformity.
