The NORTON 66261138170 is a coated abrasive quick-change disc from the Gemini R766/R228 series, designed for high-speed material removal and surface preparation on metal workpieces. Built on a 2-ply cloth and polyester X/Y-weight backing, it uses aluminum oxide abrasive at 36 grit for very coarse, aggressive cutting action. The Speed-Lok TS (Type II, Type S) attachment system allows fast disc swaps on handheld disc sanders without tools. Licensed HVAC, metal fab, and general maintenance trades rely on this disc for deburring, cleaning, and detailing operations where consistent cut rate and backing durability are required.
This disc is well suited for work on 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, titanium, and both hard and soft carbon steels. The flexible cloth backing conforms slightly to contoured surfaces, making it practical for weld cleanup, edge deburring, and surface conditioning in fabrication shops, mechanical rooms, and field service applications. It is sized at 2 inches in diameter and is rated for handheld disc sander use in single-disc or production configurations.

Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required during grinding and surface preparation operations.
