The NORTON 66261137457 is a 7-inch fiber-backed coated abrasive disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and fabricated surfaces. Part of the F826 Series, it uses a zirconia alumina abrasive grain bonded with a resinoid bond to a fiber backing, producing consistent cut rate and durability under sustained load. At 60 grit, this medium-grade disc removes stock quickly while leaving a surface ready for finish grinding or blending. The disc mounts via a threaded arbor hole with a 5/8-11 center hole thread size, compatible with the Norton AVOS Speed-Lok back-up pad system. Maximum operating speed is 8600 RPM. Metalworkers, fabricators, and maintenance welders install this disc in angle grinder applications where a secure, threaded attachment is preferred over hook-and-loop or quick-change systems.
This disc is suited for use on structural steel, stainless steel, and other ferrous metals in both shop and field environments. The F826 Series targets professional fabrication and metal finishing workflows where zirconia alumina provides a self-sharpening grain action, helping maintain cut rate as the disc wears. The blue fiber backing provides rigidity for flat and contoured surface work. It is sold individually and intended for use with the Norton AVOS Speed-Lok back-up pad.

Installation should be performed by a qualified metalworker or fabricator following the grinder and abrasive manufacturer safety guidelines. Verify the back-up pad and grinder spindle speed rating meet or exceed the disc maximum RPM before operation.
