The NORTON 66261121044 is a coated quick-change abrasive disc designed for fast, aggressive material removal on a wide range of metals and wood surfaces. Part of the R860 series, it features a zirconia alumina abrasive grain with a self-lubricating treatment that promotes cooler cutting and extended disc life. The disc mounts via a Speed-Lok TR Type R attaching system for rapid tool-free changes on compatible handheld disc sanders. At 80 grit (medium-to-coarse grade), it is suited for stock removal, weld blending, and deburring. A heavy Y-weight polyester backing provides rigidity and durability under load. Licensed trades and fabricators use this disc for high-throughput grinding operations where heat buildup and disc wear are primary concerns.

This disc is rated for use on 300 series stainless steel, 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, fiberglass and composites, hard and soft carbon steels, and hard and soft woods.
