The NORTON 66261121030 is a coated abrasive quick-change disc from the Gemini R766/R228 series, designed for use with Speed-Lok TR (Type III) attachment systems on handheld disc sanders. At 3 inches in diameter with a 36-grit aluminum oxide abrasive, this disc is rated for very coarse to extra coarse material removal. The cloth and polyester backing is X/Y-weight, two-ply construction, delivering the rigidity needed for aggressive deburring and surface cleaning. It is rated to a maximum of 20,000 RPM, making it suitable for high-speed grinding and finishing applications in fabrication and metal service environments.
This disc is intended for use on a range of metals including 300 and 400 series stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, hard and soft carbon steels, and titanium. It is well suited for deburring, cleaning, and detailing work on fabricated components and structural metalwork. The flexible backing conforms lightly to workpiece contours, which aids in blending and surface prep on irregular or curved surfaces. It is primarily used with handheld disc sanders in shop or field settings by metal fabricators, maintenance technicians, and industrial trade professionals.

Install and remove this disc only when the sander is powered off and disconnected from its power source. Verify the spindle attachment system matches the TR (Type III) interface before mounting.
