The NORTON 662611-36368 is a PSA (pressure-sensitive adhesive) disc roll designed for hand sanding and orbital sanding applications where quick disc changes and consistent cut are required. Built on a B-weight anti-loading paper backing, this roll uses aluminum oxide abrasive at a P220B grit rating — a very fine grade suited for finish sanding, between-coat scuffing, and surface prep before sealing or painting. Each roll contains 100 pre-cut discs measuring 3.5 inches with no center hole. The anti-loading paper backing resists clogging when working over sealers, primers, and soft substrates, extending usable disc life. Each case contains 4 rolls for a total of 400 discs.
This disc roll is used across automotive refinishing, woodworking, and general metal fabrication shops where a very fine finish grit is needed for final surface preparation. The PSA backing allows fast peel-and-stick disc application to compatible foam or rubber backup pads on random orbital and single-action sanders. The 3.5-inch diameter fits standard backup pads of the same size commonly used in body shop and furniture finishing environments. The A275OP type designation identifies this as an open-coat construction, which promotes chip clearance and reduces loading on resinous or painted surfaces.
Designed for use with 3.5-inch PSA-style foam or rubber backup pads on random orbital and single-action sanders. Verify backup pad diameter and PSA compatibility before use.
Ensure the backup pad surface is clean and free of debris before applying each disc to achieve proper adhesion. Peel the disc from the roll and press firmly onto the backup pad, smoothing from center outward to eliminate air pockets. Inspect the disc for tears or edge lifting before operation, and replace immediately if damage is found. Dispose of used discs per local regulations governing abrasive waste.
