The NORTON 662611-31628 is a full-sheet abrasive designed for demanding material removal and finishing applications. Built on the A275 paper backing with an open coat construction and No-Fil surface treatment, this sheet resists loading when working with resins, soft metals, wood composites, and body filler. Each sheet measures 9 inches by 11 inches and is cut to the standard hand-sheet format used across bodywork, woodworking, and light fabrication. The P240B grit designation places this sheet in the fine-finishing range, suited for between-coat sanding and surface prep before priming or topcoat application.
These sheets are sold in bulk quantities of 500 units per order, making them appropriate for production shops, autobody operations, cabinet shops, and industrial facilities with high abrasive consumption. The open coat pattern reduces clogging on soft or resinous materials, extending usable sheet life and reducing downtime from frequent media changes. The No-Fil formulation adds a stearate coating that further resists buildup on the abrasive surface.
Designed as a standard 9-inch by 11-inch full sheet compatible with hand sanding blocks and sheet sanders that accept full or quartered hand-sheet media across woodworking, autobody, and light metal finishing applications.
These abrasive sheets are hand-applied or loaded into appropriate sanding blocks and orbital sheet sanders by the end user. No tools or power shutoff procedures apply to the media itself. Ensure the work surface is secure before sanding, and use appropriate respiratory protection when dry-sanding resins, composites, or coatings per applicable safety guidelines. Inspect sheets regularly and replace when cutting action diminishes to maintain consistent finish quality.
