The NORTON 662611-31627 is a No-Fil Adalox coated abrasive sheet designed for sanding and surface preparation on wood, composites, painted surfaces, and similar substrates. Built on a B-weight anti-loading paper backing, it resists clogging during use, extending sheet life and maintaining consistent cut. The abrasive mineral is aluminum oxide, a durable all-purpose grain suited for finish sanding and material removal across a range of applications. At P280B grit, this sheet falls in the fine range, making it appropriate for finish passes and between-coat sanding work. Each pack contains 100 sheets in the standard 9-inch by 11-inch format.
These sheets are intended for hand sanding and compatible flat-bed or orbital sanding applications where full-size sheets are used. The 9-inch by 11-inch format is the standard shop-cut size that can be quartered or used whole depending on the sanding block or pad. Fine-grit aluminum oxide on B-weight paper is a common choice for paint prep, cabinet finishing, drywall finish coats, and light material removal in both shop and field environments. Sold in packs of 100 sheets, with 5 packs per case, the format suits contractors, finishing trades, and shop operations requiring consistent supply.
Designed as a standard 9-inch by 11-inch coated abrasive sheet for use with flat sanding blocks, hand pads, and equipment that accepts full-size shop-cut abrasive sheets.
No power tools or trade licensing are required for hand sanding applications. When using with power sanders, ensure the sheet is properly seated and secured before operation. Wear appropriate respiratory protection when sanding painted surfaces, particularly those that may contain lead-based coatings, in accordance with applicable safety regulations. Dispose of used abrasive sheets according to local waste guidelines, particularly when sanding materials that generate hazardous dust.
