The NORTON 662611-31451 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive disc roll designed for fine finishing and surface preparation work. Each roll contains 100 five-inch discs made with aluminum oxide abrasive on a B-weight anti-loading paper backing. The P800B grit rating places this disc in the very fine range, making it well suited for final sanding passes before finishing or coating. Cases ship with 6 rolls. The PSA backing allows fast disc changes without requiring a hook-and-loop pad, which makes it a practical choice for high-volume sanding operations where speed and consistency matter.
This disc roll is used in automotive bodywork, woodworking, and metal finishing applications where a very fine grit is needed to remove light scratches, level primer, or prepare a surface for topcoat. The aluminum oxide abrasive and anti-loading paper construction help the disc resist clogging during use, extending disc life on soft materials such as wood and primer. It is commonly used by body shop technicians, finish carpenters, and metal fabricators running random orbital or rotary sanders with a PSA backing plate.
Designed for use with 5-inch solid-face PSA sanding pads on random orbital and rotary sanders. Verify that your sanding tool accepts a PSA-style backing plate before use.
PSA discs are installed by peeling the release liner and pressing the disc firmly onto a clean, dry PSA backing pad. Power down the sander before changing discs. Worn or contaminated backing pads reduce adhesion and can cause disc separation during use; inspect the pad surface regularly and replace when adhesion degrades. This product is used by trade professionals including automotive technicians, woodworkers, and fabricators following applicable shop safety practices.
