The NORTON 662611-23575 is a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) paper sanding disc designed for aggressive material removal in professional grinding and finishing applications. The H875 disc type features a 36-grit abrasive surface, placing it firmly in the coarse category for rapid stock removal on wood, metal, and composite surfaces. At 6 inches in diameter, this disc mounts directly to PSA-compatible random orbital or disc sanders without clips or fasteners. Trade professionals and industrial finishers rely on coarse-grit PSA discs like this for initial surface prep, weld seam leveling, and paint or coating removal before progressing to finer grits.
This disc is suited for use in woodworking shops, metal fabrication facilities, and general industrial finishing environments. The PSA backing allows fast disc changes, reducing downtime during production runs. The 36-grit cut rate makes it appropriate for heavy stock removal passes on hardwood, softwood, mild steel, and aluminum. Sold individually, these discs are available in bulk quantities to support high-volume production use.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement PSA disc for use with 6-inch PSA sanding platens on random orbital sanders, disc sanders, and other PSA-compatible power sanding equipment.
Installation is performed by the equipment operator or finishing technician. Power down and unplug the sander before replacing discs. Peel the release liner from the PSA backing and press the disc firmly onto a clean, debris-free sanding platen to ensure full adhesion and prevent disc separation during operation. Discard discs that show signs of loading, tearing, or loss of abrasive.
