The NORTON 662611-00320 is an Adalox open-coat abrasive full sheet designed for aggressive material removal on wood, metal, and painted surfaces. Sold in a bulk pack of 50 sheets, each sheet measures 9 inches by 11 inches and carries a P60D grit rating, placing it in the coarse range suitable for rapid stock removal and surface preparation. The open-coat construction reduces loading and helps the abrasive stay effective longer when working with soft materials or resinous wood species. This product covers the A211, A212, and A213 Adalox series paper-backed abrasive sheets.
These sheets are used in hand-sanding blocks, orbital sanders, and finishing stations where standard full-sheet format abrasives are required. The P60D coarse grit makes them appropriate for initial surface preparation, removing old finishes, leveling rough stock, or prepping surfaces before stepping up to finer grits. The paper backing and open-coat design suit a wide range of trade and industrial applications including woodworking, metal fabrication, body shop prep, and general maintenance work. The bulk pack of 50 supports high-volume production environments where consistent abrasive turnover is expected.
Designed as a standard full-sheet abrasive replacement compatible with hand-sanding blocks, pad sanders, and finishing equipment that accept 9-inch by 11-inch abrasive sheets.
Abrasive sheets require no tools to put into service but should be loaded onto backing pads or blocks with the abrasive face exposed and the paper backing seated flush against the pad. Inspect sheets before use and discard any that show tears, delamination, or uneven grit distribution. When sanding metal surfaces, ensure the workpiece is secure and appropriate eye protection and respiratory protection are worn per applicable safety standards. Progress through grit sequences in order and do not skip more than one or two grit steps to achieve a quality final finish.
