The NORTON 66261058790 is a unitized deburring wheel engineered for aggressive edge finishing and surface conditioning on metal workpieces. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a density grade of 4 and a fine abrasive grade, this wheel delivers consistent cut and finish across a wide range of deburring, light grinding, and surface blending applications. The unitized construction bonds abrasive fibers throughout the entire wheel body, allowing the wheel to cut fresh as it wears. At 6 inches in diameter with a 1-inch face width and a 1/2-inch center hole, it mounts directly to standard bench and pedestal grinder arbors. Maximum rated speed is 4,800 RPM. Total package weight is 0.5 pounds.
This wheel is suited for use in metal fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and manufacturing environments where consistent deburring and edge conditioning are required. The silicon carbide abrasive makes it particularly effective on non-ferrous metals, cast iron, and hard alloys where a controlled, fine finish is needed. Compatible tooling includes bench grinders, pedestal grinders, die grinders, inline grinders, straight grinders, flexible shaft grinders, and pencil grinders, covering both stationary and handheld applications.
Compatible with bench grinders, pedestal grinders, die grinders, inline grinders, straight grinders, flexible shaft grinders, and pencil grinders equipped with a 1/2-inch arbor and operating at or below 4,800 RPM.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Always power down and lock out the grinder before mounting or removing any abrasive wheel. Confirm that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 4,800 RPM maximum rating marked on the wheel before operation. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use and follow ANSI B7.1 safety requirements for abrasive wheel handling and guarding.
