Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a density of 9 and a hard density grade, this wheel delivers consistent cut on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It measures 12 inches in diameter with a 2-inch face width and a 5-inch center hole, spinning safely at a maximum rated speed of 2,500 RPM. Metal fabricators, machinists, and maintenance technicians use this wheel to remove burrs, sharp edges, and light surface scale left after cutting, stamping, or grinding operations.
This deburring wheel is suited for use on bench grinders and pedestal grinders in production shops, job shops, and maintenance facilities. The convolute construction winds abrasive material in layers around the core, providing a consistent abrasive surface throughout the life of the wheel. Silicon carbide abrasive makes it well-matched for harder non-ferrous materials including aluminum, brass, titanium, and carbide, as well as cast iron. It is sold individually and is a direct replacement when a worn convolute wheel of matching dimensions needs to be swapped out.
