The NORTON 66261009186 is a 3-inch non-woven aluminum oxide quick-change disc designed for surface conditioning, blending, and finishing on a wide range of metals. It uses a Type S Speed-Lok TS attachment system for fast, tool-free mounting on compatible handheld disc sanders. The disc is built on a polyester and nylon web backing with a rigid, high-loft nylon fiber construction. Coarse grade aluminum oxide grain and Clean Bond resin technology allow moderate material removal while leaving a smear-free finish. Rated to 20000 RPM, this disc is suitable for demanding shop and field work performed by metal fabricators, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians.
This disc is suited for use on a broad range of materials including 300 and 400 series stainless steel, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, ductile iron, fiberglass and composites, gray iron, hard and soft carbon steels, super alloys, titanium, and tool steels. It is intended for use with handheld disc sanders that accept Speed-Lok TS Type S quick-change accessories. Typical applications include weld blending, surface prep before coating, deburring, and light stock removal in fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments.

Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc that shows tears, delamination, or uneven wear.
