The NORTON 66261009184 is a Speed-Lok TS quick-change abrasive disc designed for surface conditioning and finishing work on metal and composite materials. Built with aluminum oxide abrasive grain on a high-loft nylon fiber web, this 3-inch disc operates at up to 20,000 RPM and delivers a Very Fine grade finish. The polyester and nylon web backing provides rigidity for consistent contact across the work surface. Clean Bond resin technology keeps the abrasive grain bonded during use, reducing smearing on finished surfaces. This disc is suited for die grinder and handheld disc sander applications where controlled material removal and finish consistency are required.
This disc is used in metalworking and fabrication environments where surface finishing on ferrous and non-ferrous metals is required. Rated material applications include 300 and 400 Series Stainless, Hard and Soft Carbon Steels, Tool Steels, Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Gray Iron, Brass, Bronze, Copper, Titanium, Super Alloys, and Fiberglass and Composites. It is a practical choice for both production shop and field service settings where a quick-change attachment system improves disc swap speed on die grinders and disc sanders.

Installation is performed by the operator using the Speed-Lok TS snap-on attachment system — no wrenches or arbor hardware required. Always verify that the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 20,000 RPM maximum rating marked on the disc before mounting. Power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before changing discs. Inspect the disc for damage before each use and discard any disc showing tears, unraveling, or delamination of the nylon web.
