The NORTON 66261004141 is a convolute deburring wheel designed for edge finishing, light deburring, and surface conditioning on metal workpieces. Built with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine grade and density 9, this wheel delivers consistent, controlled material removal without aggressive stock loss. The hard density grade maintains wheel shape under load, making it suitable for repetitive production use. Rated to 6,000 RPM, it is compatible with standard bench and pedestal grinder setups. The 1-inch face width provides a focused contact zone. Machinists, fabricators, and toolroom technicians typically specify this wheel for finishing operations on non-ferrous metals and hard materials where silicon carbide performs best.
This deburring wheel is used in bench grinder and pedestal grinder applications for deburring, edge radiusing, and light surface blending on manufactured parts. It is well suited for production shops and toolrooms handling non-ferrous metals, cast iron, ceramics, and other hard or brittle materials where silicon carbide abrasive is the appropriate choice. Its convolute construction allows the abrasive grains to be distributed uniformly throughout the wheel structure, providing extended service life and consistent cut as the wheel wears.
Designed for use on bench grinders and pedestal grinders with a 1-inch arbor hole and a maximum spindle speed of 6,000 RPM or lower.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Before mounting, power down and lock out the grinder in accordance with applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM wheel rating before operation. Inspect the wheel for cracks or damage prior to each use and never operate a damaged wheel.
