This disc is suited for applications requiring fine surface preparation, lapping, or finishing on hard materials such as ceramics, carbide, stone, or hardened metals where diamond abrasive provides consistent cutting action that aluminum oxide or silicon carbide cannot match. Installation is performed by peeling the liner from the PSA backing and pressing the disc firmly onto a clean, dry 6-inch PSA backup pad, centering it before applying pressure. Ensure the backup pad surface is free of adhesive residue from previous discs to achieve full bond contact. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing any abrasive disc. Discard discs that show tearing, delamination, or loss of adhesive integrity.
