The NORTON 66254468382 is a 7-inch threaded arbor fiber disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal, weld seams, and heavy surface conditioning. Built on a resinoid bond with a fiber backing, it uses ceramic alumina abrasive at 36 grit (Very Coarse grade) to deliver fast cut rates and extended service life compared to standard aluminum oxide discs. Rated at a maximum of 8,600 RPM, it is suited for high-speed angle grinders and disc grinders operated by metalworkers, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians. The disc is part of the F980 Series and is engineered for use with the Norton AVOS Speed-Lok Back-Up Pad.
